Service Reservations
All use of laboratories, boats, the research vessel, the diving center, or any other scientific infrastructure requires advance registration through the IUI online booking system.
Graduate Students (MSc / PhD)
The IUI serves as an academic home for young researchers who wish to conduct advanced marine science research in a unique and innovative environment. MSc and PhD studies are carried out through the partner universities, with students based at the IUI and supervised by resident scientists.

Group Tours at the IUI
The IUI offers guided tours for groups only, depending on availability and ongoing research activity.
Tour details:
- Duration: approximately two hours
- Group size: up to 30 participants
- Includes an introduction to the IUI, its research facilities, unique experimental systems, and major research projects
