Dear students, this section is intended to introduce you to the registration procedures to the courses that the institute holds.

read the explanations carefully. It is also recommended to read answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ).

Admission Requirements

Courses at the Institute are interuniversity courses and are therefore open for registration to students from all institutions of higher education in Israel who meet the specific admission requirements for each course, as detailed in the various course pages.

The courses at the Institute are from various fields and are mostly intended for postgraduate or third-year undergraduate students, with some requiring the ability to perform various activities at sea.

Therefore, it is important to carefully read the information about the requirements that are published on the pages of the various courses (such as who the course is for, prerequisites, grade, etc.).

Please note that recognition of the course by the academic institution to which you belong is a condition for the credits to be recognized for you within the framework of your degree, so it is important that you check this in advance with the Secretariat of your department.

Registration for courses

Registration for courses is done online through the Institute's course registration system. You can log in directly to the system using a username and password (for an existing user) or register as a new user.

The registration includes 3 steps, it is very important to follow the order of the steps, in all steps you must follow the instructions.

1. Update user information:

This page contains several sections and requires filling out personal information (general details, addresses and telephone numbers, studies, diving).

Very important:

A. Before choosing the courses in Stage 2, the degree and year of studies must be updated in the curriculum, which will be valid for the academic year in which the courses take place.

B. Participation in courses is not subject to a diving license.

2. Choose courses:

Select up to 4 courses from user-open courses. Pre-courses must be completed (in courses where there is such a requirement). It is strongly recommended that you explain the reasons why the course is important and necessary for further study. Note the last date you can cancel your registration for the course.

3. Notices and conditions for completing registration:

On this page, you must enter grades and eligibility certificates for the degree according to your stage of study.

The grade sheets (first and second grades, completion of a bachelor's degree, completion of a master's degree) must include:

A. name/logo of the academic institution,

B. student name and ID number,

C. the student's grades

D. grades of all years of study

E. multi-year average and/or a final grade for the degree.

In addition, if the registration system requests it, you must enter a confirmation from your academic institution that the course will be recognized as part of the curriculum and will give you credit points for the degree. A screenshot of the personal information may be uploaded to the parent university provided that it includes all the required details as indicated above.

Admission to courses

A notice of acceptance/non-acceptance for courses in the first and second semester will be sent before the end of the first semester to the email address entered by the applicant on the registration system. Participants must confirm their participation in the course within the time period specified in the notice. Students who do not approve their participation in the course will be removed from the list of participants.

After the end of the first semester, the registration for the second semester courses will be re-opened and students who register for them may be accepted on the basis of availability. Acceptance notices will be sent before the end of the first semester.

Students who approve their participation in the course will be able to cancel their participation until the cancellation date set for the course. The final date for cancellation of the course appears on the Institute's website, at the bottom of the page describing the course.

Students who accepted the course and approved their participation must also register for the course at the parent university. In case of cancellation of the course, the students must cancel their registration at the parent university also. The Interuniversity Institute will not be responsible for any consequences that may result from the cancellation of registration at the parent university. Students must participate in the course from beginning to end. Cancellation of participation in the course after the last date of cancellation, non-performance, absenteeism or non-fulfillment of the assignment, except for exceptional reasons and with the approval of the Chairman of the Teaching Committee, will prevent the student from participating in additional courses of the Institute.

Students who have not yet received an e-mail about being accepted to the course are on the waiting list.

We appeal to students on the waiting list in case places become available.

There may be changes at any moment. Please follow the e-mails sent to you from the institute and if you are required to respond to them, please respond as soon as possible.
