The Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat provides support for research groups arriving to conduct fieldwork and laboratory research at the institute.
We are well aware that many groups bring with them a considerable amount of scientific equipment – often expensive and delicate – which requires special storage, calibration, maintenance, charging, and preparation.
The following facilities are available on site:
• Basic guest rooms with kitchenette and private bathrooms.
• A dedicated area for organizing and drying diving gear and scientific equipment.
• An outdoor space for arranging, cleaning, and preparing equipment before and after field activities at sea.
In addition, the institute can assist with accommodation arrangements in the city of Eilat when needed.
