The Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat (IUI) is a leading center for research and education, located on the shores of the Red Sea. Academic Courses

It's time to break away from routine and join a unique learning experience at the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat (IUI)! Our interuniversity courses are open to all students from higher education institutions in Israel, offering a rare combination of in-depth academic learning and hands-on fieldwork in the Red Sea.

These intensive courses, lasting 6 to 10 days, include on-site accommodation and are led by top lecturers from universities across the country. Throughout the course, you will work directly on coral reefs, conduct sea sampling, dive into new knowledge, and deepen your theoretical and practical understanding of marine biology, oceanography, and environmental sciences.

The courses are accredited for academic credit as part of your degree, making them an especially rewarding educational experience.
